Hijab for men and women as in Quran, Part-6: This video, a production of Bihar Anjuman (www.biharanjuman.org), presents the Tafseer of Surah # 24 (Al Noor) Ayah # 30 and 31, and Surah Al Ahzab (33) Ayah 32-33, in which Allah first commands men on the Hijab (modesty and veil) rules for them (24:30), and only after that, Allah commands women on what do to about Hijab (modesty and veil, 24:31 and 33:32-33). This may take care of the unnecessary debate on whether women should cover their heads or not, their faces or not. Maulana Abul A'ala Maududi (in Tahfeemul Quran) explains the traditions as well as the implications of these ayah, in his usual lucid style. The Urdu audio is supported by an English transcript.
